President Obama Goes To Dinner At Google's Marissa Mayer's Home

President Obama paid a visit to Google’s Marissa Mayer’s home on Thursday night. Mayer was holding a charity event, selling seats for $30,400-per-plate at the fundraising dinner. Obama gave a speech at the event, where he reportedly said:

My task has also been to try to figure out how do we address some of the structural problems in the economy that have prevented more Googles from being created, prevented more Hewlett-Packards from being created … how do we unleash this incredible energy and dynamism that we know has always driven America, decade after decade.

Most the buzz is around Obama meeting with Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs. That was his first stop when he visited the Bay Area. He met Jobs for 45 minutes at a Westin Hotel in San Francisco to talk about technology, education and job creation. Later he visited two fund raises, one being at Marissa Mayer’s home.
