The Android Police picked up on the latest new feature added to the Google Maps App for Android, where if you begin to navigate to a place and your arrival time will be after the place closes, Google will warn you.
The feature note from Google reads, “receive a warning when you are about to navigate to a place that is closed at time of arrival.”
This is not uncommon, many people will head off to a place, assuming it is open, only to arrive and find out the place closes early on Tuesdays – or whatever their rules are.

You can see, Google is saying “your destination may be closed by the time you arrive.” It then shows the hours of operating and your arrival time, with the option to navigate to the place anyway.
